Personal attacks, discrimination, harassment, intimidation or hate speech are not.

Everyone decides what they share and with whom.

Please respect personal limits, privacy settings and communication preferences.

“No” is a complete sentence.

Only share information that belongs to you.

Do not publish or distribute another person's private information without their consent.

Remember that trust is one of the most valuable things we build together.

Authentic connections begin with honesty.

Please represent yourself truthfully and avoid misleading information or impersonation.

Candoo exists to encourage mutual support, learning and human connection.

Manipulation, scams, spam, coercion or attempts to take advantage of others are not permitted.

Some members may be verified Professionals.

Unless you are a verified Professional, please do not present yourself as a medical, psychological, legal or financial expert.

Even verified Professionals remain responsible for their own services, advice and professional conduct.

Candoo is a platform for connection and peer support.

It is not a replacement for emergency services, medical care, psychotherapy or crisis intervention.

If you are experiencing an emergency or are at immediate risk of harm, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Care Credits are designed to encourage balance between giving and receiving support within the community.

They are not a currency and cannot be exchanged for money.

Please use them honestly and respectfully.

Respect different viewpoints.

Create room for others to participate.

Assume good intentions while maintaining healthy boundaries.

If you encounter behaviour that feels unsafe, inappropriate or harmful, please use the reporting tools or contact the Candoo team.

We review reports carefully and may take action to protect the community.

Candoo is not a marketplace.

Candoo is not a dating platform.

Candoo is not a social media feed.

Candoo is a place where people share experience, support, knowledge and human connection.

We believe everyone has something valuable to contribute.

We believe asking for support should feel as natural as offering it.
